Kandis Quam

Natachu Ink: Co-owner Zuni Pueblo Artisan/Cultural Anthropologist B.A.

Growing up in a family of native artists, I learned and continued the Quam family's art legacy. While being the first in my family to graduate college, I pursued a degree in Cultural Anthropology and American Indian Studies. Returning to the Pueblo of Zuni, I co-founded Natachu INK with my cousin. I strive to blend traditional and modern elements in my art, focusing on Zuni influences. I aim to preserve our culture through my work and pass on knowledge to future generations. By bridging the past and present, I hope to create change through beauty.
